It is inspired by genuine Liberalism. This means a proper balance of the twin principles of liberty and equality.
It does not mean the perverse bastardisation of the term by the left, whose notion of equality is given such precedence as to destroy liberty and has led right wing ignoramuses to use the label liberal as pejorative.
